RIFD Technology
RFID Technology for Explosive Atmospheres
The most advanced method of labelling during EX Inspection by EUTEX is the use of RFID labels.
EUTEX in 2011 identified there was a gap in the market regarding automatic data capture for compliance proposes.
There seemed to be a lot of Myths and Unknowns (EUTEX believed that RFID tagging should simplify Inspections not over-complicate them!).
However after extensive research EUTEX can advise how to best deliver a transparent basic or fully integrated electronic data capture system including RFID technology – which is capable of meeting current standards and the demands of any clients in any sector.
All systems allow for:
- Compliance with IEC 60079 standards and ATEX directives for explosive atmospheres
- Quicker turnaround of faulty and ineffective equipment meaning greater output
