Description

TMC Cable Gland

A TMC cable gland provides a means to terminate metal-clad (MC and MCHL) corrugated interlocked aluminum or steel cables as well as continuously welded armor (TECK) cables. Certified by ATEX for the safe glanding of cables in Class 1 Zone 1, 21, and Zone 2, 22, hazardous areas, they’re manufactured per the following:

This cable gland type features a CMP load retention sealing technique. The sealing material is a SOLO LSF halogen-free thermoset elastomer. Also incorporated into the design is an integral protected deluge seal.

TMC cable glands are available in brass, electroless nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, and aluminum constructions. EUTEX International’s standard offering is nickel-plated brass. Optional accessories include locknuts, earth tags, serrated washers, entry thread seals, shrouds, and ingress discs.

Intended for operating environments -76°F to +230°F. The wide temperature range enables TMC glands to be used by a variety of industries.
