HAZARDOUS AREA INSPECTION SERVICES

EUTEX is the go-to company for hazardous area inspection around the globe! We help make sure equipment is compliant by using the latest technology for real-time inspections.

Our hazardous area compliance service helps verify that installations in potentially explosive atmospheres are compliant with recommended practice, codes, directives, regulations, and international standards and ensures every piece of equipment installed is suitable for its intended use.

Our compliance services help to prevent catastrophic events, such as fire or explosions that may occur and put at risk the workforce and public as well as damaging the plant and/or owners’ reputation – we do this by eliminating or reducing the likelihood of an ignition source occurring.

Before equipment is brought into use an initial detailed inspection MUST be completed with any nonconformance “closed out” before first use – periodic inspections are then a MUST to ensure continued compliance, whilst noting any effects of damage or deterioration.

Whether it is an onshore or offshore facility where dangerous substances are present in daily operations it is important to not only comply with installation standards but also to have staff competency requirements met and equipment certifications in place.

Where employees’ safety and assets protection are a priority and non-compliance is not an option – This is where we come in!

For over 10 years, our experienced certified teams have been deemed as subject matter experts with global capabilities. We hold IECEx certified facility status which means we have an independent international trusted body overseeing all our work.

We offer hazardous area inspections in the three recognized grades to meet our clients’ needs and ensure compliance as per this flowchart. *

Visual Grade: our certified inspectors will visually determine all defects and damages that need care. This inspection is carried out from the ground and without the use of any tools.

Close Grade: this inspection notes any damages that may be detected without the removal of power and involves the usage of tools and other equipment.

Detailed Inspection: our inspections teams verify that each piece of equipment is compliant to specific standards, has appropriate certifications, and ensure the equipment does not have any unauthorized modifications internally as well as externally.

Another unique benefit of our Inspection capability is our remote and digital options.

Remote inspections: verification digitally that compliance is met when attendance is not possible

DIGITAL offering – low-cost basic or in-depth digitization can be added using our software and certified hardware solutions – digital tagging and data capture is proven to reduce inspection time (& cost) often by more than 50%.

Once the inspection has been completed, our team issues a full digital report of all findings with help and advice on areas that need attention to ensure compliance.

We also provide remediation advice services.

All our services are documented via our hazardous area dossier which is updated or created constantly to be used as a full compliance trial.

EUTEX teams are small enough to care but large enough to deliver and hold all the necessary insurances and registrations to ensure that when we are awarded a project, we can guarantee transparency and accountability, along with our IECEx certification as a full assurance of due diligence.
